Position Overview
In this critical hands-on role, you’ll be at the forefront of operations at our client sites, sometimes in remote locations, with a focus on developing your skills and technical expertise. Your ability to solve technical challenges, collaborate with your team, and deliver exceptional service on time is key to client satisfaction. Above all, safety is your top priority.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform On-Site Operations: Travel to client locations, often remote or offshore, and occasionally by helicopter, to support and carry out coiled tubing operations.
- Equipment Preparation and Inspection: Thoroughly inspect and prepare all necessary materials and equipment according to checklists, ensuring readiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Assembly and Disassembly of Equipment: Assist in the safe assembly, disassembly, and rig-up/rig-down of coiled tubing and associated equipment on-site, following technical procedures and adhering to safety protocols.
- Operational Support for Coiled Tubing Activities: Operate and monitor coiled tubing units, pressure control equipment, and other machinery during intervention jobs to ensure efficient and effective execution.
- Pressure Testing and Fluid Pumping: Aid in pressure testing and fluid pumping operations as required, supporting various intervention and stimulation services based on client specifications.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct routine maintenance on coiled tubing equipment to ensure operational efficiency; identify and troubleshoot minor technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, protocols, and company policies, actively participating in safety briefings and job hazard assessments to ensure a secure work environment.
- Effective Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with supervisors, team members, and other site personnel to coordinate activities, relay operational status, and respond to instructions effectively.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete job logs, equipment checklists, and maintenance records accurately; report material shortages, equipment status, and any operational issues promptly to the supervisor or operations manager.
- Client Relations: Interact courteously and professionally with clients on-site, ensuring their needs and expectations are met through quality service and operational integrity.
- Continuous Learning and Skill Development: Stay updated on industry best practices, safety standards, and coiled tubing advancements; actively engage in training opportunities and on-the-job learning to enhance technical expertise.
