Equipment Coordinator

As an Equipment Coordinator, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance and availability of all equipment and tools used in the oil and gas industry. The role of Equipment Coordinator includes planning, monitoring and coordinating the logistics, maintenance and safety control of equipment to ensure that all operations are conducted efficiently and safely.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed schedule for equipment usage at project sites.
  • Ensuring availability and optimum deployment of equipment to meet project requirements.
  • Identify and report any equipment shortages or problems to ensure timely solutions.
  • Coordinate periodic inspections and maintenance activities in accordance with safety standards and company guidelines along with the workshop coordinator.
  • Manage transportation of equipment to and from project sites, including arranging logistics and transportation companies.
  • Inspect equipment prior to shipment to ensure it meets required specifications and safety standards.
  • Oversee inventory of equipment and required parts, placing timely orders to avoid shortages.
  • Efficiently manage spare parts and equipment to ensure operational continuity.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of equipment status, maintenance history and certification.
  • Ensure compliance with internal company procedures and regulations, as well as national and international safety and environmental standards (e.g. ISO, API, etc.)
  • Identify potential risks and ensure a safe working environment through the implementation of safety procedures and risk management techniques.

What do we expect from you?

  • MBO 4 or HBO (Mechanical Engineering, Logistics or a similar field) working and thinking level or relevant

practical experience that proves this.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas sector.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral in Dutch and English. German is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations within the oil and gas sector.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team under sometimes stressful conditions.
  • Experience with ERP systems for equipment and inventory management is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 package (Word, Excel, Sharepoint, etc).
  • Problem solving ability.
