Workshop Mechanic (Full-time)

Well Services Group, onderdeel van Excellence Logging, levert wereldwijd specialistische well intervention services voor de olie-, gas- en geothermiesector. Onze werkplaats is essentieel voor het veilig en betrouwbaar inzetten van onze apparatuur.

Jouw rol

Als Werkplaats Monteur ben je verantwoordelijk voor het inspecteren, onderhouden, repareren en reviseren van mechanische apparatuur die binnen onze operaties wordt gebruikt.

Je werkt zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband en zorgt ervoor dat equipment veilig, gecertificeerd en operationeel is.

Wat ga je doen

• Uitvoeren van inspecties, onderhoud, storingsanalyse en reparaties
• Uitvoeren van gepland en correctief onderhoud
• Demonteren, reviseren en testen van equipment
• Signaleren van defecten en uitvoeren van herstelwerkzaamheden
• Ondersteunen bij inspectie- en certificeringsprocessen
• Rapporteren van afwijkingen, schade en onveilige situaties
• Bijdragen aan verbeteringen in werkplaatsprocessen
• Zorgdragen voor een veilige en georganiseerde werkomgeving

Wat breng je mee

Je bent een vakman/vakvrouw met technisch inzicht en een praktische instelling.

Je hebt:

• MBO-diploma in een technische richting (bij voorkeur werktuigbouwkunde)
• Ervaring met onderhoud en reparatie van mechanische equipment
• Ervaring met het lezen van technische tekeningen
• Sterk probleemoplossend vermogen
• Nauwkeurige en gestructureerde werkwijze

Pré:

• Ervaring met drukhoudende of veiligheidskritische equipment
• Kennis van hydrauliek, pneumatiek of dieseltechniek

Your role

As a Workshop Mechanic, you are responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical equipment used across our operations.

You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure equipment is safe, compliant, and operational — directly contributing to reliable field performance.

What you will do

• Perform mechanical inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Execute both planned and corrective maintenance activities
• Carry out equipment strip-downs, rebuilds, and mechanical testing
• Identify defects and perform corrective actions to restore equipment
• Support inspection and certification processes, including documentation
• Report non-conformities, damage, or unsafe conditions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of workshop processes
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised working environment

What we are looking for

You are a skilled mechanic with a strong technical foundation and a practical, problem-solving mindset.

You bring:

• MBO-level education in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair (industrial or oil & gas preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team

Nice to have:

• Experience with pressure-containing or safety-critical equipment
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, or diesel systems
